I am the CTO and a co-founder at Joyent. I was also a co-founder at TextDrive and Strongspace. I went to school at UCLA and UCSD and did the entire BS/MSes/PhD thing. I have backgrounds in cancer biology, bioinformatics, distributed systems and collaborative applications, and now I do “web stuff”.
